Which ticket tier should we choose?

For a first visit with children, Jungle Hopper covers the safari and the main presentations. Add Legend if you want the Bali Agung theatre show, or Safari Lion if you would rather have lunch included with the lions in view. Elephant Safari suits families who want unlimited tram rides and the water park. Night Safari is a different experience altogether and best as a second visit or for older children.

Is the safari park suitable for toddlers and young children?

Yes; it is one of the easier full-day outings in Bali for small children. The tram is enclosed, paths are mostly shaded and stroller-friendly, and there is a water-play zone on some tiers. Infants under three enter free and children up to twelve pay the child rate.

Does Dewa wait for us at the park?

Yes. The car and driver are yours for the day, so you can stay as long as the schedule allows and leave when you are ready. If you would like to stop somewhere on the way back, such as Tegenungan waterfall or a beach, just ask.

How does the Night Safari tier work?

The park runs a separate evening programme with a walk-in safari, dinner and the Rhythm of Africa show. Pickup is in the late afternoon rather than the morning, and you return late in the evening. Tell Dewa you want Night Safari when you book so he can arrange the right ticket and timing.

Can we book the elephant activity in advance?

The elephant activity on the Elephant Safari tier is subject to availability on the day and the park can change or postpone it for weather or animal welfare. Dewa will confirm what is running when he arranges the tickets, but it cannot be guaranteed.

Bali Safari and Marine Park is in Gianyar on the east side of the island, about an hour from Kuta, Seminyak or Nusa Dua and forty minutes from Ubud. It is a large park built around a safari tram ride through open enclosures of animals from Indonesia, India and Africa, with scheduled animal presentations, an elephant show, a water-play area and, on most days, the Bali Agung theatre performance. Dewa drives you there, waits, and brings you back whenever you are ready.

The park sells several ticket tiers and this package lets you pick the one you want: Jungle Hopper (the standard safari and shows), Jungle Hopper Legend (adds the Bali Agung show, Tuesday to Sunday), Safari Lion (adds lunch at the Tsavo Lion restaurant overlooking the enclosure), Elephant Safari (express line, unlimited safari rides, water-play zone and a photo with an animal) or Night Safari, which starts in the evening and includes dinner and the Rhythm of Africa show. The listed price is the entry-level tier; the higher tiers cost more and Dewa will quote them on WhatsApp.

This suits families with children of any age, and anyone who wants a full day without walking far in the heat: the park is mostly shaded paths and tram rides. Allow five to six hours inside for the standard tiers, longer if you add the water park or a show.
